I wanted to share with you my latest interview with my dear friend and former colleague, Wágner Dos Santos, Founder of Wagner Agency, a social activation marketing agency, and creator of the Wagner Live podcast. In this podcast, we’re just two friends candidly chatting about entrepreneurship, women in business, mom life, leadership, growth, and goals for 2018. On his show, he regularly covers a number of trending topics in business, advertising, marketing, media, and technology.
I’ve included some more information about Wágner below, and I hope you enjoy the podcast!
About The Host
Wágner is a sociocultural and linguistic anthropologist, futurist, brand strategist, podcaster, and managing partner at Wagner with over 20 years of experience. Some call him a marketing maverick because he’s not afraid to tell it like it is even if it goes against popular thinking. Yes, he can be controversial at times.
He was one of the pioneers in the online services space at the age of 17, having designed, built, and launched two popular online services which paved the way for AOL and the Internet. He has proudly partnered with international brands Coca-Cola, Google, Dell Computers, Target, Ford, Sprint, Autograph Collection Hotels, and Hilton Hotels & Resorts, among many others, and is the managing partner at social activation marketing agency, Wagner.
Prior to Wagner, he was president/CEO and founder of Beloved, a national award-winning marketing agency, and honed additional expertise from Sony Masterworks and agency powerhouses Momentum Worldwide (IPG), GMR Marketing (Omnicom), and Havas Impact.
Wágner is the winner of several American Advertising Awards, recognized as a 2010 “Most Influential Businessmen” nominee by the Orlando Business Journal, and a trustee and past president of the American Advertising Federation-Orlando. He is also a contributing writer for the Orlando Business Journal.
After being classically trained at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, he spent several years in the music industry as both a recording artist and A&R executive.
